Kevin Callaghan is an experienced real estate executive having worked at a number of major international financial institutions. He has over 20 years of professional experience analyzing real estate investments including the last six years in China, Japan and India.  Before founding his own cross-border consulting firm in 2008, Kevin spent 11 years as a CMBS executive at Lehman Brothers and Barclays Capital, originating and structuring large-scale real estate loans throughout the U.S., Caribbean and Japan.  His specialties span every property type with a concentration in large-scale mixed use projects, portfolios, and hospitality. Born in Wurzburg, Germany, Kevin was raised in the United States and has traveled extensively in Europe, Asia and North America.  From 2008 to 2011, Kevin lived, worked and studied in China, completing graduate business degree programs from the two leading business schools in China and Europe – Tsinghua University and INSEAD - with programs based in Beijing, Singapore, France and Abu Dhabi.  Kevin started his career as an appraiser, achieving the MAI designation in 1990.  Kevin is currently a Registered Representative and Investment Adviser Representative (Series 63, 65, 82) with Equinox Securities, Inc. and is a licensed real estate agent (New York State).

Tian Xia Group's executive team consists of seasoned real estate and cross-border professionals with broad experience in their respective industries - including real estate investing and development, financing, cross-border consulting, EB-5 consulting, and capital raising.  Tian Xia Group team members have assisted in the placement of billion of dollars in capital in the U.S. and overseas at major financial institutions including Barclays Capital, Lehman Brothers, JP Morgan Chase and PKF Consulting.

Bill Toy brings over 25 years of extensive real estate experience to the Tian Xia Group.  He has worked with major real estate owners, developers, banks, insurance companies and other financial institutions.  His projects have included acquisitions, asset management, loan restructuring and workouts.  Bill recently was an advisor and consultant with People’s United Bank, the G2 Investments Group and AT Advisors, LLC.  He was previously a Senior Vice President in Lehman Brothers’ Global Real Estate Group, where he was a team manager and senior credit underwriter for the commercial real estate loan program. He was responsible for coordinating loan originations, underwriting, asset review, loan analysis, due diligence and securitization activities.  Prior to joining Lehman Brothers in 1997, he was a Vice President with Citibank Realty Investment Advisors where he was responsible for the asset management and client relations of real estate investments for major international clients and pension funds. He was also the Director of Underwriting at Arbor National Commercial Mortgage. Bill Toy graduated with a B.S. in Banking and Finance and an M.B.A from New York University.
